What time do I board, and what time do I leave?
Check-in is from 12:00 on the day of departure and disembarkation is at 11:00 on the final day. On the two-day itinerary the ship reaches Tuan Chau Harbour around 11:45 and guests tender across shortly after.
How do I get to the harbour from Hanoi?
It is 140 km, about 2.5 to 3 hours by road. A shared transfer leaves daily at 08:30 with pick-up from hotels in the Old Quarter; if you are staying elsewhere the meeting point is the Hanoi Opera House. Limousine, private car, helicopter and seaplane transfers are available on request.
Which bay do you actually sail?
Both vessels embark at Tuan Chau Harbour on Ha Long Bay, then cross into Lan Ha Bay for the overnight anchorage. The swimming and kayaking stop is at Tra Bau, a sheltered area of Lan Ha.
Is there internet on board?
Yes — Diana carries Starlink high-speed internet, available 24/7 in every cabin.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Diana has a Family Balcony category with a double plus single bed, and Venus has a Family Suite. Child rates are banded by age; the exact bands need confirming with reservations.
What if the weather turns?
The captain has final authority and the harbour authority can suspend departures. Diana is classed VR-SI, rated for two-metre seas and force-eight wind, so she sails in conditions that stop smaller boats. Rescheduling and refund terms are to be confirmed.
How do I pay?
Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Deposit and balance terms are to be confirmed with reservations.
Can I charter the whole vessel?
Yes — both vessels are available for full charter for weddings, corporate groups and private parties. Contact us for a proposal.
